chapter 4 Scarlett Letter
This chapter amazed me. The reason is because they were questioning the little girl named Pearl. This is the daughter of Hester and people did not believe she was. The little girl was right enough to say it was her mother and also not speak to strangers. This relates in a lot of movies i have watched in the past called "Easy A". It has the same exact similarities and even talk about it in the movie.
chapter 2 Scarlett Letter
This was a very strong chapter. The reason is because it shows the true character of Hester. They have done so many stuff to her that made her have a low-self esteem. The part that made me feel sorry for her is when they wanted to put on her forehead "hussy" with a hot iron. The punished her so bad that she was sent to jail. I bet they were very serious about their religion and they believe that she sinned. However, I agree that she did wrong and could have at least been faithful.
Chapter 5
On chapter 5 i really was in shock. The reason is because Hester Prynne found out that she had a daughter. I mean how would you not know that you had a daughter when eventually you have to make her and even be pregnant. This made me see what kind of person is she. She did not care what other people think about her and does not care what other people say. She has a bad reputation already and is accused of using the letter "A" on her breast.

Winter Dream
In the short story Winter Dreams, it caught my attention because it was a unique story. It made sense in the beginning when Dexter met a young girl who everybody thought was beautiful. However, I strongly believed that the title picture didn't make any sense to what the story was talking about. If it was mainly talking about a golfing club, why did they choose the picture of them dancing if that wasn't the purpose in my opinion. I would definitely read it again.

The Poems of Whitman & Dickson
Once I started to read about the 6 poems that were from the Whitman and Dickson, I automatically got interested. I didn't quite get the the Whitman poems' as much. However, I'm the type of person that likes poems with rhyming into it like the Dickson one. It interest me by trying to understand how the reader was feeling.
